To whom it may concern,

I recently purchased a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and am having issues ONLY when connecting to my Windows 11 laptop PC.

The earbuds will pair easily with Bluetooth and will say that it is connected with no issues. However, after trying to play audio through the earbuds all sound will stop after about 20 seconds. The Bluetooth settings say that the device is still connected and will not register a problem. Upon re-pairing the device this will happen again.

I have attempted updating the Bluetooth driver and then restarting the laptop, but the same thing happens immediately.

This only started happening o my device after updating to Windows 11 and I have had no problems with Bluetooth on this laptop before. My Galaxy Buds 2 Pro work fine on all other devices so it is not a product issue.

System;

Blade 15 Advanced Model (Early 2021) - RZ09-036

Manufacturer;

Razer

Please help me solve this issue.

Thank you,

Briana

Greetings, Briana! My name is Arif, and I will assist you today.

Could you please try forgetting or removing your Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and then restart your PC? Once your PC has restarted, make sure to reconnect your Galaxy Buds 2 Pro as if they were new, and check if you encounter the same issue.

Warm Regards,

Hi Arif,

Thank you for responding so promptly.

I have already done that twice and the same problem happened straight after.

Briana

I am having the same problem, it's not a matter of the device it's a window issue. For the windows techs, I have done every possible solution, I've purged the drivers, i've installed the device specific app, I've re-synced, factory reset, nothing happens. I had the same earbuds working for MONTHS no problem until your updates around August which is when the problem randomly started so this is clearly a programming issue on your end related to your last update.

Dear Briana,

Thank you so much for your prompt reply!

I'm also using the Galaxy Buds+ with Windows 11, and initially, I encountered the same issue. However, I resolved it by disconnecting and removing the device, then reconnecting it and running the troubleshooting tool. Now, it's working perfectly. Could you please try running the troubleshooting tool as well and make sure to install all pending Windows updates?

To run the troubleshooting tool, click on the Volume icon in the System Tray and select 'Troubleshoot sound problems.'

Alternatively, you can check if the issue persists on another user profile with your Galaxy Buds Pro. If you don't have another user profile, you can create a test one by going to:

Settings > Accounts > Family & other users > Add Account > Select 'I don't have this person's sign-in information.'

Please let me know if these steps help resolve the issue.

Warm Regards,

Hi Arif,

I did what you said, however it didn't help. It seems to be a Bluetooth issue and not a sound issue. It just disconnects the device after a couple of seconds and then connects and disconnects at random afterwards. There is never any more than 3 or 4 seconds of connection.

Does this help to narrow down the problem?

Thanks again for your help,

Briana
